Thank you to the amazing Adobe Creative Campus team and workshop participants for a wonderful week of learning and community! I'm excited to share what I've learned with my students and colleagues.
I'm an educator - I'm passionate about teaching students how to think critically and creatively about the social impacts of technology on individuals and organizations, including the importance of technology design. I like to integrate my industry and research experiences into the classroom to provide students with realistic problem-based learning. More information is found on my professional website: http://alisonmurphy.weebly.com/.
I'm a health IT researcher - My research aims to improve the usability of health technologies, especially for users who are typically underrepresented in design. Qualitative methods and user experience design approaches are my favorite ways to connect with users.
I'm a creative - In my spare time, you can usually find me behind my camera or spending hours editing photos and website designs. Working on creative projects both inspire and challenge me, which I love! Learning about the Adobe Creative suite has been so wonderful this week - I can't wait to explore these tools more and integrate them into my classes and projects.
